An amazing Nikon camera and Latex Balloon Probe on Earth

Four (4) Spanish students proved that a Nikon digital camera and a latex baloon could result to a worthwhile and groundbreaking creation/experiment.

To Google it is not the only remedy to a project that requires a picture of the earth atmosphere and surface. Pagasa could not be the only source for weather forecast, actually, you can do it on your own. Proven and guaranteed amazing.

A small experiment that gave this four (4) spanish student a life changing exposure due to their uncomplicated but pretty much amazing probe to the earth surface. They call this creation METEOTEK. Compose of a typical Nikon digital camera, a small house of detailed device and a latex baloon that brought METEOTEK 20 miles up earth. They were able to gather fresh shots of the earth surface/atmosphere with this device. They were able to trace where METEOTEK was going through Google earth.

I was blown away by this news, considering that these students are pretty young, and the idea is so clever but made sense and delivered a very outstanding result. When I was a child, I have dremt of flying on a baloon & wonder where a baloon that swept into my hand goes, but never did I thought to attached a camera on it and let it clip the travel. Certainly there is nothing new with the shot taken by METEOTEK, but the process alone made it so marvelous. I salute.
